Navigation architecture
Clearer entry points for dogs, cats, brands and product categories.
NATURAL PET
Natural Pet is a pet wellness retailer with a broad catalog for dogs and cats. The redesign focused on making a large store feel clearer, easier to navigate, and significantly better on mobile.

01
A large catalog only works when customers can find the right product without having to understand the store’s internal structure.
The project centered on reorganizing Natural Pet around real shopping decisions: the pet, its size, its life stage, the brand, and what the customer is trying to find. The goal was not simply a visual refresh; it was a more usable e-commerce system.
02
THE CHALLENGE
Natural Pet carries food, supplements, treats and accessories across many brands and product types. The redesign needed to reduce friction without stripping away the depth of the catalog.
Mobile was especially important: filters, navigation and product discovery had to stay useful on a small screen instead of becoming an endless sequence of menus and cards.
03
Structure first. Decoration second.
Clearer entry points for dogs, cats, brands and product categories.
Filters built around pet size, life stage, brand and other useful shopping attributes.
A more consistent structure for mixed catalogs and intelligent collections.
Responsive navigation, cleaner product grids and more efficient browsing on smaller screens.
Stronger category imagery, brand discovery and a more coherent visual system across the store.

MOBILE EXPERIENCE
The mobile experience was treated as its own interface: tighter hierarchy, two-column product browsing where appropriate, simplified accordions and navigation designed around touch rather than desktop conventions.
05
A storefront that feels simpler without becoming smaller.
The redesigned system gives customers clearer routes into the catalog, stronger filtering logic, more consistent merchandising and a mobile experience that does not feel like an afterthought.
